Custom Handmade Family Name Pendants with Birthstones

Very special family name pendant. I'm getting a little more fancy~

This unique and handmade (by me of course!) pendant features three parts. The first recycled sterling silver circle is an abstraction of the parents' names, "Sara and Wylee."

The other two pendants are hand stamped with the kids' names, as well as their birth dates on the back and accompanying birthstones. So sweet! And available at Angie Star.

In my September collection for Angie Star Jewelry, I played with the use of a larger type of chain (check out the pieces here). The necklaces were a success, so I decided to try another twist on the concept.

Woven 14kt Gold Filled Necklaces with Imperial Topaz and Pearls

A friend of mine has been wearing an incredible layered necklace around Boulder. What I love most about the piece is its combination of chain, beads, rope and textiles. It thus inspired my newest collection at Angie Star.

Specially adapted to the Angie Star customer, my take on the piece is a little more refined.... But I'm starting on a bolder collection for the store in the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. Keep an eye out for it!

I've been wanting to create a long wrap necklace for a while now. I've had a pearl one for years, and it is still, to this day, one of my favorite pieces. Below is my (first) similar design.

Handmade Custom Charm Bracelet with Name Pendants, Opals and Pearls

Sadly, I can't take full credit for this one, although I would love too! The fabulous Kyla Ostler actually made this fun and unique bracelet as a special Christmas gift from a daughter to her mother. That was last December... And this bracelet was well loved, for sure. Mom wore her bracelet everywhere, including the beach! Well, sometimes even the toughest jewelry is just a little too loved!

I recently cleaned up this piece when it was brought back into Angie Star. I added the large wrapped pearls, as well as the recycled sterling silver "Kramer" pendant. It's not as dainty as my normal pieces, and for that reason, I love it. Thanks, Kyla!

Each pendant includes a child's name, as well as their birth date. The bracelet also features freshwater pearls and opals. I know you want one!

Custom Made Anchor Pendant in Brass from Angie Star Jewelry, Boulder, CO

I loved this order. And the customer loved her pendant. Honestly, who wouldn't?

I hand cut out the anchor from a standard Angie Star brass pendant, and all the detailing was worth the effort. Per the customer's request, I paired the pendant on a long 14kt gold filled chain with an "A" initial (Angie Star' specialty) and a wire wrapped piece of coral.

Fashion-forward and thoughtful, this pendant hold particular meaning to its new owner--her father works as a commercial fisherman in Alaska.

Locally Made Evening Jewelry with Labradorite, Pearl, Onyx and Crystal

Recently a very good husband came into Angie Star looking for the perfect gift for his wife's birthday. Sweet, huh?

The order was for a matching choker and anklet in blacks and dark grays. It took a little maneuvering, but I think I came up with the right color scheme: onyx, dark gray pearls, labradorite and gray crystal.

So special! I particularly love that I was able to sneak in the labradorite .... I really do think labradorite makes everything that much more special.
