They're still a work in progress, but I've enjoyed working with white gold for the first time!

Inspired by my other reverse-cluster earrings, this special design features white sapphire wrapped in 14kt white gold, as well as handmade white gold findings, pearl and crystal.

I don't know about anyone else, but I so am happy to have reached February! Boulder has been hinting at spring the last couple days, so it seems only appropriate my new collection do the same.

Custom Seashell Ring in Recycled Sterling Silver, Boulder, Colorado

This very unique ring is specially made for my dear friend Elise. Her father, who lives in Oregon, has been known to carry seashells in his pocket, and he inspired Elise with the fabulous and very thoughtful idea to set one of the shells in an uber-cool ring. Elise's ring is thus made of recycled sterling silver and a found seashell, making it both eco-friendly and deeply personal!

I now officially set found objects. Yahoo!

Custom Necklace for Katie with Tanzanite, Amethyst, Yellow Zircon & 14kt Gold Fill

My college buddy, Devang, recently asked me to make a special necklace for his new bride, Katie. She liked my tanzanite and topaz necklace from the Holiday 2009 collection, but she thought to replace the topaz with a more purple stone. Volia: amethyst!

Pictures of Katie on her wedding day happened to surface on Facebook, and I was blown away by how fabulous she looked in the yellow dress she chose for the day!

I really felt Katie's jewelry needed a yellow touch, and the hint of zircon does the job!

Recycled Sterling Silver Men's Wedding Band, Angie Star, Boulder, Colorado

Paul has been one of the best husbands-to-be! When he came into Angie Star, he was clear he wanted a 7mm recycled sterling silver ring with matte finish. I finessed the piece with a slight file finish.

Paul and his bride are off to Mexico to get hitched. Best of luck to them!

Custom Locally Made Recycled Sterling Silver Men's Wedding Band with Inuit Eagle

First custom piece of the year! I created this one-of-a-kind wedding band for the hubby of a wonderful Boulder couple. He requested an Inuit-art inspired piece:

After some research on Inuit art and particularly eagles, I was struck by the use of rectangles. I therefore designed, drew, hand-cut and solder angular wings to each side of the eagle's face.

The ring features a dark patina, as well as a file finish.

'Tis the Trunk Show Season!
